Interior Space and Features
The K4 includes a comfortable cabin for five with leading second-row legroom and 14.6 cubic feet of trunk space. It offers lots of standard convenience features including keyless access, push-button start, remote start, the Smart Trunk power liftgate, and heated side-view mirrors. A spacious center console gives you flexible small-item storage.
You can upgrade the K4 with an extra-wide sunroof, a black cloth headliner, front seat ventilation, sound-absorbing windshield glass, and SynTex upholstery. Higher trims also add dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.
Performance
The base model of the K4 features a 147-horsepower engine with an intelligent variable transmission. The standard powertrain gives you 132 pound-feet of torque. The available turbo engine provides 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque that comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Both powertrains have front-wheel drive, selectable drive modes, an electronic parking brake, and offer a multi-link rear sport-tuned suspension. Higher trims provide added control with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The K4 offers a generous list of standard and optional driver assistance features. Every model includes forward collision avoidance assist, cyclist and pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, rear occupant alert, high beam assist, amber daytime running lights, and smart cruise control with stop-and-go technology.
You can add front, side, and rear parking sensors, a surround-view monitor, and many other advanced safety options. LED fog lights, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assistance, and a blind-spot view monitor are also optional.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The K4 incorporates a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with a 4-inch digital display, along with satellite and HD radio, Bluetooth, several USB ports, and the wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The base model also includes a four-speaker stereo, which you can swap for either a six-speaker system or a premium Harman Kardon® eight-speaker system.
Enhance your cabin tech with upgrades such as built-in navigation and a larger digital display. A wireless charging pad is also optional. You can access your K4 with your smartphone if you select the available Digital Key.
