The 2025 Kia K5 features a stylish exterior and impressive engine power this year. Discover the five impressive trim levels of this great midsize sports sedan, which offers comfortable seating for up to five people.
LXS FWD
The base K5 trim gets 191 hp and an EPA-estimated up to 30 combined miles per gallon. It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, as well as standard hill start assist, electronic stability control, and vehicle stability management. Standard safety tech in this model includes blind-spot and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane following assist.
You’ll also have front and rear parking sensors, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, and smart cruise control in the K5. The cabin of the LXS trim features dual-zone automatic climate control, solar control glass, an adjustable driver’s seat, and push-button start. The dash showcases a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a 4.2-inch digital instrument display. This model has a 6-speaker audio system, satellite radio, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
GT-Line FWD
The GT-Line FWD trades the standard black cloth seats for either red or black and white SynTex upholstery. The cabin includes heated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and built-in navigation. This trim adds color options to the exterior palette. The GT-Line replaces the standard 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels with 18-inch wheels that have a trim-specific design. The GT models also feature LED fog lights.
GT-Line AWD
The all-wheel-drive version of the GT-Line trim comes with a heated steering wheel. It’s also the only K5 that adds a Snow Mode.
GT
The K5 GT gets a trim-exclusive 290-hp turbocharged engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, paddle shifters, quad-tip dual exhaust, and sport-tuned suspension.
The exterior of the GT highlights unique 19-inch gloss black machine-finished wheels. Inside, you’ll find black SynTex upholstery with a pop of neon green contrast stitching. The GT also has LED interior lighting and a panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade.
EX
The K5 EX expands your driver assistance package with a blind-spot monitor, side parking sensors, a surround-view monitor, and reverse parking collision-avoidance assist. The top-tier trim adds a 12.3-inch curved instrument display, a 12-speaker Bose® audio system, a power-adjustable passenger seat, driver’s seat memory functions, ventilated front seats, and more.
EX drivers can use the Digital Key 2.0 system, which lets you use and share virtual keys through your smartphone. This model also adds power-folding side mirrors.
