With its efficient engine, nimble handling, and roomy interior, the 2025 Kia Soul is the perfect compact commuter or family car. The same 147-horsepower 2.0L engine powers each of the four trims, and the trims offer their own set of unique characteristics. We bring you the details of the four different models to help you decide which Soul is the one for you.

1. LX
We begin with the LX, the starting Soul in the lineup. Multi-reflector headlights illuminate the road, while 16-inch steel wheels carry you smoothly over every surface.
Inside the spacious cloth-lined cabin, a six-way adjustable seat and the tilt and telescoping steering wheel are installed at the front, letting drivers adjust the cockpit to their liking. A fully digital instrument cluster relays important information to the driver and welcome assistance comes from a suite of safety technologies, including forward collision avoidance, speed limit assist, and a rearview camera. Infotainment is delivered by an 8-inch touchscreen with smartphone compatibility.
2. S
Next is the S, which builds on the LX with more features, such as alloy wheels, smart key entry, and remote start. There’s additional comfort with the S as drivers gain an eight-way power-adjustable seat with power lumbar, and everyone benefits from the perfect temperature set by the dual-zone climate control.
A wireless phone charger lets you charge your devices while on the road and an infotainment upgrade gives you a larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with integrated navigation. Kia also expands the driver-assist features on the S to include blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, and lane change assist.
3. GT-Line
The GT-Line is the sportiest-looking Soul, with 18-inch GT-Line wheels, unique design details, and a gloss-black and chrome grille. This trim also gains turn signals integrated into the power-adjustable side mirrors.
The black SynTex and cloth-lined interior is light and airy thanks to the new sunroof, which has a shade to block the sunshine when you want it blocked. Sportier design elements are also added to the cockpit, including a sport steering wheel and leather-wrapped shift knob.
4. EX
The Kia Soul EX adds to the list of the premium upgrades in the Soul and gains 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, and heated front seats. This top trim also has a 12V power port in the rear cargo area for convenience and LED interior lighting.
