Explore the Fun and Useful Upgrades Available for the Kia Soul

Exterior Enhancements

The base model of the Soul offers 6 available exterior colors, but you’ll have additional choices as you move up the lineup. The base LX trim comes in Gravity Gray, Steel Gray, Snow White Pearl, Fusion Black, Inferno Red, and Mars Orange. However, if you get the top-range EX trim, there are unique colors like Surf Blue and Inferno Red with a Fusion Black Roof.

The base model has 16-inch steel wheels, upgraded to 16-inch alloy wheels for the S model. The EX has 17-inch alloy wheels and the GT-Line gets 18-inch alloy wheels with a unique sport design. You can also add LED fog lights and LED multi-reflector headlights to the Soul GT-Line.

Interior Appearance Upgrades

Cloth upholstery is the standard for the Soul, but you can get exclusive SynTex upholstery on the upper trim levels. The EX trim adds Umber Syntex seating to the lineup in addition to the standard Black and Gray Two-Tone options. The GT-Line and EX trims have a leather-trimmed shift knob and steering wheel.

Safety Upgrades

You’ll find extra driver assistance tech on higher trims of the Kia Soul. The S trim and above add blind-spot collision avoidance, lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance. You can also upgrade the GT-Line trim with options like highway driving assist, smart cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, and forward collision avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection and Junction Turning Detection.

Comfort and Convenience Add-Ons

The top 3 trims of the Soul add push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Smart Key remote start. The EX and GT-Line trims both come with heated, power-adjustable side mirrors and a power sunroof, and the GT-Line version includes integrated turn signals.

The S and EX trims give you a power-adjustable driver’s seat, while the EX provides the comfort of heated front seats. The EX trim also adds LED interior lighting, an optional upgrade for the GT-Line.

Tech Enhancements

All of the 3 top trims replace the base 8-inch touchscreen with a 10.25-inch model. Available on the GT-Line and EX Soul models is an optional Harman Kardon® 10-speaker audio system in place of the standard 6-speaker stereo, and you can also upgrade that trim with color-adjustable speaker lights.
